Hey guys, new to this forum so please be patient with me. I looked throughout the forum as much as possible but still came up empty handed.

I've narrowed down to 2 choices: either the Audio-Techinca ATH-WS99 or the V-MODA Crossfade LP2 headphones. My budget was anywhere from 120-150.

Links to both items are posted below.

Audio-Technica ATH-WS99 (115$):

V-MODA Crossfade LP2 (140$):

Which would you guys recommend? I am really only interested in the sound quality of the headphones. I listen to mostly bass-heavy music so it is also very important that the headphones have good bass. That being said I do not want to sacrifice sound quality for bass.

Heres what I've read so far:

-LP2's have better bass, but that comes with about 30% lower sound quality compared to the ATH-WS99 headphones. Due to the LP2's bass being too strong and highs being recessed.
-ATH-WS99's are better for overall sound quality, but the bass isn't ass satisfying as the LP2's.

I am looking for a fun pair of headphones to listen to bass-heavy music with, without losing quality of the highs/mids/vocals. I also plan on using these headphones for movies/gaming/etc so bass isn't everything. I am looking for the best bass possible while still having great overall sound quality.

Anyone experience both of these? Which do you prefer?

Thanks in advance!
