Hi all,
I have a pair of Sennheiser HD555 and i have an onboard sound card Realtek AC1200 so i was thinking of upgrading it with either a Xonar Essence ST which has a head amp or a seperated amp for about ~200$.Which choice should i make? Also is it worth it to buy a seperated amp or the build in amp of the xonar would be enough?
I want to use it primarily for games, movies and lastly music. Not fan of high def audio since it is hard for me to find except the cd's i own...
Lastly any cheap portable amp suggestion around 50$ would be also good so i can use it with my Sony NWZ-S545 walkman since its sound is good but too low atm so i want to boost both especially volume...I use the HIPPO VB IEM's for the mp3 player with the mp3's being ~192-256kbps bitrate
