I'm looking for the best bang for buck, all around value headphones for around $30. I want them for pretty much all genres of music and casual movie watching/gaming. They'll be used on my phone, computer and Phillips SA-PM18 amp.
My top 5 are:
  • Sannheiser HD201 (Cheap, I know, but apparently worth $50)
  • JVC HAS400
  • Panasonic HTX7 (These won CNET's under $50 Headphones)
  • Audio-Technica ATH-SJ33
  • Monoprice 8323 (These aren't available here)
I would love anyone to share experiences with any on my top 5, advice and their own recommendations, Thanks.

I have heard that their sound quality is good for that price.

I actually bought a pair of Sony MDR-ZX600s on sale for $70 down to $30. They're fairly good with loud, eartight around and great portability, I would prefer a pair of over-heads for home use and hopefully my brother will be able to get me a pair of ATH-M50's on sale in the states.
