Hey guys, i just downloaded a song named Boosty Collins - i'd rather be with you.

and it's just the shizzle i'm talkin' about.

i searched but couldn't find more info about ''Boosty Collins''..
could someone give me more info, or tell me where to get other songs from this artist ?

you're talking about Bootsy, baby.

he was the bass player for all of George Clinton's outfits. that song's from the album, Stretchin' Out in Bootsy's Rubber Band. if you like that tune, i recommend you pick up a couple of albums by Funkadelic and Parliament.

my personal favorite Funkadelic album is Cosmic Slop. Maggot Brain is considered by many to be their best. their eponymous debut is also fantastic, but a bit more rooted in R&B.

for Parliament, start with Mothership Connection, then pick up Funkentelechy vs. the Placebo Syndrome.

you might also enjoy Sly & the Family Stone. you can't go wrong with any of their early 70s trilogy of albums; Stand, There's a Riot Goin' On and Fresh.
