Whenever I try to use Winamp with Kernel Streaming (out_ks) with my AV-710 it crashes Winamp.

If I use Kernel Streaming 3.3 (out_ks33) it gives me an error: unable to create output pin.

However, Kernel Streaming works in Foobar. When I use ASIO4All I don't get any sound at all? In both Winamp and Foobar I can see the Spectrum Analyzer moving, so I know there is some audio going around... but its just not coming out of my speakers.

Also, in the ASIO4All control panel, my AV-710 displays as being Beyond Logic?

I'm using the latest 4.73b drivers from Viaarena with Winamp Pro 5.12 and foobar2000 v0.83

Looks like your AV-710 is locked at 48 kHz. Set up the digital out mode so that the checkbox for automatic sample rate appears (PCM only), and check this.

No, it isn't, because the card is in Hi-res mode (and the panel says "96Khz").

To enable card to work with ASIO4ALL, do this:

1.Card set to 2 channel mode
2.Set SPDIF to on and PCM only
3.Set Samplerate to auto
4.Enjoy

Cheers...

Throw out the resampler! That is still in Foobar's DSP chain.

Another Question: Do ASIO4All and KS sound the same?

Provided you get bit-perfect output (which is likely to require setting the wave slider to max for KS), they should.
