Hello all,

I'm looking for an amp to go with my new ATH-AD900's. I'm running them from my laptop, and they sound great, but I know they could sound MUCH better. Since I'm running them from my laptop, USB connectivity would make life much easier.

Someone suggested the E-MU 0404, which looks good and is the front (if only) runner for now. I'm looking to spend about 200-250.

Any suggestions?

You could check out the Firestone Fubar III. It's the Fubar II and Cute battery in one. It's also USB. Gives you a starter USB DAC (source), and a pretty good amp. Although it's not the best, it's good for a starter.

Yeah the corda MOVE sounds liek a great thing if you use a laptop.

im already thinking about it.....and i just bought a new amp too...
