I need some advice and opinions on what IEM's I should get. I've been browsing on here for about the past 5 months and have a somewhat clear of what I want to get.
ATM I have a sony HD3 paired with EX71's - no amp and I don't intend to get one.
I want a balanced presentation of the musical spectrum with superb clarity. I definitely don't want the head-pounding bass I'm enduring with the ex71's. Almost as important is sound isolation and leakage. The EX71's do provide adequate isolation so anything that is near to that is acceptable. Sound leakage is very important as well. I will be using these things everywhere - walking, on the bus, in the library etc so it is neccessary that I will be enjoy my music without pissing people off.
These are the essential requirements: Excellent sound quality, sound isolation and prevention of sound leakage.
I'm eyeing the shure e3c ATM. Would this be a good choice?
