I am a newbie to all this but am getting increasingly addicted to portable hifi. I currently have Westone UM2's driven through a Fiio E11. Whilst I like the SQ to a degree I am looking to upgrade. Music comes either from my iPhone 4 or Ipod classic 160gb. Mainly I use the set up whilst walking or commuting or just sitting reading and not bothering the rest of the family with my music.
Could anyone help me as i am getting more confused each time I look at upgrade kit. I am looking at a new amp like the Ray Samuels Shadow, Pico Slim or similar.
My question is would the benefit of one of these amps be worth it or would it be better upgrading the IEM's. I want to keep with IEM's rather than on ears as they suit my purpose all round.
Price not too much of a problem.
