Hello there!
I was looking into buying a new pair of hi-end headphones (closed or open) for mixing and recording/casual listening and I dont really know where to start. So I need your help. I currently own a pair of Sennheiser IE80s iems, Shures SE215, TF10s, and a Vsonics GR07, . Also, a Fiio E10 DAC/AMP and an E5 AMP.
As you can probably tell, I really like bass. But I also dont like sacrificing mids and im a little more forgiving with the treble. What would you guys recommend? Of course im looking for something better than my iems. I used to own a pair of V-Modas crossfades and Shures SRH750djs. And all I can say is that those headphones left a bad taste. Which is why I only own IEMS. Since im willing to give headphones another try, I want something to blow me away.
btw, I listen to alot of genres, primarily electronic music though.
ps.
People mention headphones are always better than IEMs (in the same price range). Is that true?
