Question: Do you know if there is a DAC working with android over usb? 
 
 
I m looking for a DSD transport. I just figure out Onkyo rolled out a trial dsd player on google, so it kinda sort out my problem. I am going to check out if the new player work with one of the 2 DAC I like.
 
However, I m curious if there is any advantage using a pricy DAP, let say AR-M2 or ZX2, as a transport over cellphone Sony Xperia Z Ultra? 2 months ago, I bought a pha-3 to pair up my phone (model: mentioned above). It's not working. noise was coming after like 10 minutes of listening. the local Sony Repair Centre gave me a refund. Their technician assured me none of their sorry z phone is working with pha-3
 
I would like to stick with my phone as transport, so I can buy a DAC only and save some money.

I think there is also a large thread somewhere on head-fi with people's experiences of different phone & dac combinations. Some work, some don't.

indeed there are many talks about different combos of players and DACs.
but my problem is quite unique seems.
I just did a google and my thread is the top one.
