Hi Folks, new to the forum and the whole DAP thing.

I am looking at the FiiO M15S as my first DAP. However, I’m concerned that with the M15S’s Android 10 version that I’m buying a DAP that will be stuck in 12-24 months time as Android moves on? I see its competitors are on 12?

Thoughts please?

Hey Paul,

It's really only a concern if there are apps you want to use and they stop supporting older versions of Android. I have a HiBy R5 Gen II on Android 8.1 and Tidal still works, for reference.
