I was given the advice to go with the Denon AHC452's over a year ago by you guys, and I have in fact found them to the superb for the price. However, they have dropped in price, and alongside that I have finally lost my last pair of tips for them. So, I guess an upgrade is in the works.
I have enjoyed the decent transients in the low end and how the high end doesnt roll off so quickly. The mids are a tad recessed, but I still cannot complain. I paid $80 for them at frys, because I did not want to wait as I needed to have music to accompany my study sessions ASAP at the time.
For the same price range (or less), what is out now that can compete with these guys?
thanks you,
Jeff
