Since I did not find a thread for this one…
Had a short stint with it today at High End in Munich. While I’d (still) don’t care about high res, it’s an interesting concept. Especially since it seems to do Bluetooth as well (wenn not connected to WiFi) and can be used with a cable. That sounds identical as far as a short test goes, and they emphasized that the don’t use DSP tricks but worked hard to get the acoustics correct so that the active electronics is just an amp (did not ask about EQ since I don’t use it, sorry). They are also working on new features coming with future software updates, like utilizing internal storage.
Soundwise they do like their bass, but are not dark but offer good mid and treble detail as well. Comfort is quite good, although the cups don’t svivel. At all. Interesting design choice.
