Hey everyone,

Is it normal to hear your heart beating while listening to iem's? I didn't notice it with my apple in-ears, but I have since I got my super.fi's. It's most notable when I have my head tilted to the side, so I think it may have something to do with the pulse in my neck. Anyone else notice this?

Nuks, I've noticed this before, though, just barely. Is it enough to interrupt your listening experience? Or, do you only hear your heartbeat during silence?

I have used Shure, Eymtonic and UE IEM phones - when I got my first pair of E2c phones the hearing your heart/breathing bothered me - you soon get over it. This just shows that you are really isolated from your surroundings and outside noise.

Just think of it as showing the seal works!

Its not the sound of your heart beating directly, you have a pulse in your ear. Like the throbbing at your wrist.

You'll notice everything which contacts a part of the IEM its sound is exaggerated, like if you tap the ear-pieces. Closed circum-aural cans tend to do this too.
