Wouldn't a person's results very depending on the type of headphones they're using? I mean.. surely a person, with some $20 Sony's wouldn't hear as much as they would with say, some HD800's.. ?

I'm gonna give the app a try with my PX 100-IIi's.. Will report back.

Edit: The lowest I'm able to notice with my wife watching a show on her laptop outside noise ( car's going by ), is right around  36.8 Hz. The highest, 11299.6 Hz. Not sure if my hearing is as acute as I once thought. I'll do another test when I get complete silence.

Good to know you can hear upto 11299.6, I am able to hear only till 10000 Hz

I also requested one of my friend, who do not use headphone much. We used apple buds for test as everyone will have it.
He is able to hear till 125000 Hz. Not me, after 10000 Hz I am not able to hear anything.

Tested on him with D2K, HD 598 too, same result, we used meeting room so total silence.

You can even try these wav files, Download all 20 tones

I need to be care full with headphones from now on
