Ok, I'm going round in circles now trying to decide which
will give me the biggest improvement.....
Well, I'm currently using an IRIVER S10 (WAV and OGG Q10) with
Ultrasone Proline 650's (very good) and it's actually a good
combination - at least for my ears.
The main decision is whether to upgrade my source player to the
MEIZU which I hear GREAT things about (sound quality wise) - also
nice to have a FLAC player.
OR, I could by a headphone amp: I was pretty much decided on the Headsix
until Jan released the 2Move. Now I don't think I really use the DAC but the crossfeed looks interesting. I'm not sure whether there's any REAL difference in sound between the two amps that justifies the price difference when not using the DAC....so I'm hoping someone can advise.
So, Headsix/2MOve or MEIZU M6 SL....with my current (sadly lacking ) setup:
