In my search for some headphones to out fit with a mic I stumbled on these two headsets that looked interesting enough to post here. They are steelseries siberia v2 and Plantronics gamecom 780. I was thinking about modding my presonus hd7's with a mic. The real ones I want, Q701, are currently out of my budge for the next 3 months and I need something in the mean time for use at work (a call center). They will also double when I game cause I use the mic a lot.
Anyone ever use the mentioned headsets, any thoughts on them? Think they have a prayer at having similar quality sound that my HD7s have or better and are worth investing in?
To compare the mic mode will cost about $30-$40 to do it how I want it to look.
