Hey everyone,
 
I'm looking for a headset to use during Skype music lessons, which means that I've got my bass running through a small mixer and then into my Mac.  The only catch is I need the mic on the headset to run to an XLR.  My teacher uses the Audio Technica BPHS1, which has the following feature: 
 "Detachable cable (BPCB1) terminates in 3-pin XLRM-type connector for microphone and ¼” 3-conductor for headphone."
But these are too expensive for me...
I was wondering if there was a solid cheaper option.  Does anyone have any recommendations?

Right now I'm using normal headphones and a standalone mic in xlr.

I know that is an option, but I was wondering if there was an all-in-one solution that wasn't too pricey...
If not, obviously then that's what I'll do.
