I started my journey 4 1/2 years ago with HD600's and the Headsave Classic. The Headsave has been sitting in my closet for a long time. I didn't need it and felt no need to get rid of it. I recently started getting an itch to put together a rig for my bedroom. While I'm figuring that out I decided to pull out the Headsave and connect it to my sacd player (phillips 963sa) and give it a listen. The bottom line is that it sounded great. Very enjoyable. I compared it to my mpx3 and I would describe the difference as 2 dimensional vs 3 dimensional, but dollar for dollar (and pound for pound) the headsave was very nice.
