Not to devalue my own thread, but can anyone with an electrical engineering background give even a "questionable" reason for why a higher quality (assuming the "lower quality" cable is functioning as intended) might make a system sound better? I mean, the whole point of digital is that as long as the signal gets to point A to B, that all information is retained, correct?
I'm not looking for a psychological reason, as honestly this is what I personally feel is a huge portion of the difference, but hey, $46.66 isn't a lot to prove myself wrong.
Any takers?
