If you have a Practical Devices XM4 and think the volume knob is too loose and easily rotates when you don't want it by brushing against your cloths...I wear mine on my belt...or something of that nature, a simple mod with an item everyone is sure have will solve the problem in a quality, professional way.

Take the knob off and find a large silicone canalphone sleeve and put the pointed end over the knob stem and then put the knob back on, pressing down to the desired amount of looseness while tightening the set screw.

It looks like a factory thing and works wonderfully. It's better than pushing the knob against the front panel, metal to metal scraping, to control the looseness.
