Many thanks to Ben at Headroom for walking me through the best amp for my uses. I snatched up the last Desktop amp w/o the DAC...plus it was discounted on the B-stock page - nice!!

Looking forward to hearing what it can do!

Tyll, congrats on running a great outfit...Headroom is first-class in my book. See my sig for 'phones - GS1000i, HF2 (soon!), 325is, HD650, AH-D7000.

I'll give the HD800's a try some day...just waiting for the initial hoopla to die down and see what people say about them after a few months. As you can see, I do enjoy the Grado sound but the PS1000 is just a bit salty for me
