I fail to see why Sennheiser has this policy. Its one thing with US Military hardware....its a totally different boat with headphones.

Maybe - but good luck making anything stick on their US branch. Americans tend to take a "lol, not happening" stance to foreign legal authoritay.

Also, staggered launches happen all the damn time. So if there are laws against it somewhere, they apparently can't be made to stick for ****.

Further, before you could get the courts to hold your hand and let you get one at the US launch phase, it would be a couple years after release...

No, not really.
Fairly standard practice in many places for many manufacturers.

Someone'll just have to kiss of being the first one on his block with the shiny new toy.
