I am thinking of buying new headphones. I am not looking to spend more than £150 for headphones. Looking for some advice on what would be good for me. I listen to hip hop music.

These are what I have shortlisted so far:

1. Ultrasone HFI-580
2. Audio-Technica ATH M50

In what form is your music and what do you use to deliver it to your headphones?

Most of my music is in mp3 format, 320kbps. I use a Sony NWZ-A865 mp3 player, with FiiO E5 portable amp.

The M50 is a good choice, if you're OK with a "V" shaped EQ.  The Shure SRH 840 will give you a more neutral sound signature.  Also checkout the KRK KNS 8400.
