Are you guys being serious this X-Fi Go Pro is good? I had a FiiO E7 and returned it because of defective OLED.
But now I want a USB soundcard like X-Fi Go Pro because of the mic input. So for what you are saying if I buy one I wont be disappointed?
I will only use it with my laptop, which happens to be exactly the same as op.

Supposedly some have gotten hissing or noise from it, but I haven't.
It may be best to try it only if you have a good return policy. I no longer use mine, but was surprised how good it sounded with my HD-598.
No external amp needed.
 
I'm sure I pointed this out, but it sounded much flatter than the Fiio E10.

I'm in doubt if I get a FiiO E10/E07K with a cheap SYBA Audio Adapter to solve my onboard mic problems.
Or get a X-Fi Go which would solve both problems, but I never trusted Creative. Hehe
