I have a pair of sennheiser earbuds (MX580, which were advertised as having impressive clarity, and man they delivered that) that after a little mod have the perfect sound for me, but they're slightly lacking in bass, and being little earbuds, they also lack a bit in soundstage and isolation.
 
I'd like a pair of full size headphones (not over ear) with a similar, ultra detailed and crystal clear sound, but with a bit more bass, big soundstage and of course some more isolation for listening at home.
 
I have a pair of JVC HA S660 but these are way too bass heavy and lack clarity even with heavy equalization. When listening to Trance I can't make out some details that are very clear on my earbuds and this annoys me. I also have a pair of Sennheiser HD558 but they were too expensive for me so I sold them to a relative, but they had the amazing sound I'm looking for. I'd buy them again but they're too expensive, so I'm looking for something cheaper.
 
Can you recommend something with these characteristics? My main genres of music are Classical and Uplifting Trance, and my budget is around 50€. I think I'll have to look into open or semi open cans.

The S680 looks nearly identical to the S660 (not S600, made a mistake there) that I have. Maybe they're the same model but they're called differently? Maybe I'll ask in the thread about them. Unfortunately I can't find them in any european store or ebay seller.

I made a mistake (now fixed). I have the S660 not S600. I'm not sure about that, according to the box, they use a "Carbon Diaphragm". They look identical to the S680 which have "Carbon Nanotube Diaphragm" written on the box. I'm not sure if they are the same. If they are, then I don't like their sound, it's not detailed at all.
 
I asked in this thread here if they are the same. I scanned the thread and couldn't find pictures of the drivers, but on the outside they are identical.

Takstar pro 80 looks good but I can't find them in Europe either.

 
There are both sold on eBay.
The HA-S680 is only sold in Japan, so you need to buy it from a seller in Japan.

The HA-S680 is only sold in Japan, so you need to buy it from a seller in Japan.

I'm from Italy. Buying from USA would mean I'd have to pay for customs and other stuff, making them much more expensive.

maybe the sennheiser HD 239? Its an open set like the HD 558. U said u did not want over ears? The HD 239 is an on ear can.

AKG 700 series if you can deal with open headphones or the 550 series if you need closed are both a great deal used and offer impressive clarity for the price.
