I currently have a pair of grado sr80i and ive got a bit of christmas money. I want to upgrade. I listen to folk, electronic, and post-punk. I am also in college and need a very comfy pair of headphones good for ling listening and movie/t.v. watching.

I have a little fiio e6. I assume that the Q701's and the dt880 250 ohm need a better amp than that?

I'm also thinking about going to a closed back headphone. Isolation has become something I need. I'm in college and roommate doesn't like hearing all the leaking sound from my grados.
