Sennheiser HD280 and HD600 gets my vote for vice-like grip. My entire jaw was hurting for several weeks until they loosen up a bit.

Tried some, what I think where Sony MDR-Z780's at the record shop, ouch

K1000's don't hurt my jaw at all.

I liked the HD280's they never felt tight "vise grip". maybe 'cause i have a big head?
