Sup guys , im looking for a headphones and need some help , currently i am using an sr25 with a set of 1er z1r wich i realy love , i mainly listen to film score , orchestral music and female vocals , i want a set of headphones that will push the feeling of listening in a cathedral even further and have alot of détails and clean bass like the ier z1r so i can feel the impact , i will drive them out of an dac/amp combo , maybe the f9 from fiio or anything that will match the impendance to have them sound as close to the headphones itself thank you.

Sup, what kind of budget range are you working with? And open or closed backs?

I think open are the best for imaging, budget is no issue within 3k i guess

With this budget, you have a ton of options used... unfortunately, most are out of my current paygrade but I'm sure others will chime in.

Quick FYI, there is a sub forum for help and recommendations .

Question on how you’re driving them. Do you already have an amp set up? The type of amp will make a difference in recommendations.

A focal utopia has great transparency for film scores, and the lesser expensive focal clear is slightly below but you may enjoy the clears bass more. A zmf verite is another option, although to be honest I am going from user recommendations as I have not heard them.

I will grab a fiio k9 pro and use my sr25 to play file from ( gonne use the usb c output to bypass the dac in the sr25 )
