Hi! I am looking for some new headphones. I make EDM tracks and now I use the Sony mdr 600 and because they are bass headphones I tend to cut too much from the bass in the equalizers. So I am looking for some studio headphones with a more flat sound. Something around 50 pounds or 70 dollars. Some of my choices are the ath m20x, ath m40fs or akg k121. Which one do you think it is better or which other headphones would you suggest me to buy?

Presonus hd7 seem good but I can't find them in London.

You looking to audition them?
I doubt anyone has them on display.

They're on UK amazon for about 30 quid.
Slap on some AKG velours (£20), and you've got a headphone that sounds about as good as a £200 studio headphone (if a touch bright)

I can't choose between Presonus hd7 and ath m20x. Presonus has better specs but I don't know if it is better than m20x in real life.

It's one of those headphone that doesn't get talked about much here.
One can deduce that means it's not worth talking about.
Under most circumstances I hate this kind of reasoning, but it wouldn't surprise me. Any 'low-end' audio technica headphone I've ever heard, I hated.
Granted I havn't heard this one, so I can't pass judgement, but the number of responses about it reflects it's ambiguity in the community.
