To me they are both equal in comfort. I think the pads are more soft on the HD-600 though. Their is a slight clamping feel to the HD-600s. That kind of gives the wrong impression, but it does not bother me at all, even after five hours. The 555 is a bit more loose on my head.

The Sony F1s look very interesting. Can anyone else give me some comparisons between them and some of the other phones listed in this thread? I searched around a bit, but there don't seem to be too many threads on them.
