I have a pair of ER6is that I really like for traveling, but I would like a pair of headphones that are a little more comfortable for extended periods of time that are good for wantching movies and playing games along with listening to music. These would be mainly used with my computer. I would prefer something that didn't require an amp, and I would like something less than $150.

The Audio Technica Ax00 series are a great choice. Very comfortable, and the A700 is the best movie headphone I've owned, easy. I only got rid of it because I don't use headphones for movies any more.

Is the A700 comfortable?

The headphones I currently use for movies and stuff is an old pair of Philips SBC HP170. One of the many problems I have with them is my ears get too hot.

Although your ears may get hot in the big pleather pads, they're very comfortable.
