This is a query from my dad, he's looking for a pair of headphones that he can use to listen to music while lying flat in bed.

budget for this is less than $100

it should:
sound good from a portable DAB radio or mp3 player
be Supraaural
have very little sound leakage
be well suited to Classical, Country&Western and Folk music.

It would help if the models suggested were still readily available

I suggest PK2.

faichiu, you have failed utterly to understand what the OP is asking for. Either that or you just didn't read the question properly.

To the OP:

The PX200 is generally regarded as sounding poorer than the PX100 because the closed back affects the sound. However that closed back give you the sound isolation that you need. They are also small and should be fine in bed (depending on how your dad likes to lie of course).

They're also well within your budget and you'll have little problem selling them on or finding another use for them if they don't quite turn out to be what you hope for.

I have sought a solution for this also. I have ES7, AD900, SR60, KSC75, and JVC Marshmallows. Of those, the only ones I've been comfortable with in bed are the latter two. The marshmallows don't leak sound, and they also work ok if I turn on my side or fall asleep.

Out of the few I have, I'd choose the PX100's and the ES-7's.
