Denons with JMoney pads (bass is overwhelming without them and makes it hard to hear vocals properly).

^LOL

But seriously maybe Denons or Ultrasones really need some kind of price range, Ampped or not, etc.

The D2000s and you can add the Jmoney pads to make them even better. I listen to plenty of rap, but I don't listen to any of the new rap out there (hip-pop), just good ol' fashioned 90s rap (with some exceptions here there).

Well I just recieved my ATH-M50 phones today. and I'm very impressed with them. Handle deep bass extremely well without missing out on other parts of the song. I've heard of some headphones that have so much bass that they cut out the vocals. while I wouldn't mind having that at times, its not a very desireable trait. these m50s are somewhat comfy so far. i've been wearing them for a couple hours so far. they squeeze my head a lil bit when I first put them on, but I'm sure they'll loosen up a tad bit once I've used them longer. for 90 bucks on ebay, its hard to beat these I would imagine. but I'm no expert on headphones.
