Sennheiser HD558 headphones. not a "bassy" headphones, but you do not want a lot of bass covering up the sound of footsteps.
$90-$123 on Amazon.

I got an audio technica ath-a900x just under a month ago.

They are really good, surprisingly much lighter than they look.
Music wise I listen to a range of music and it holds up well in all of them.

They are also comfortable. I wore them all day watching e3. Only removing them for food or going to the loo.

They work well with Razer surround as well, which I use when I game.

They go for about 170 on eBay.

+1 on the Audio Technica ATH-A900X (closed) headphones.
I added Hifiman HE Velour ear pads to my A900Xs.

There is also the AKG K550s, sometimes there are good price for used and refurbs on eBay.
I bought my refurb K550s off eBay, from HarmonAudio (AKG).
