I'm back from the headphones festival Spring at Nakano, Tokyo. This show is only headphones dedicated show in Japan AFAIK, and the show was called as a hi-end headphones show before and the show took place three times in the past. From this fourth time the show has been renamed and gets some renewals.

This is not a forum meet, a trade show rather. The main host is Fujiya-Avic store which is well known among Japanese headphone fanatics.
Some domestic distributors and manufactures has joined in mainly. However, here is also some room that is open to headphone fans and I brought a NuForce Icon-1 and a balanced GRADO HP-2 hooked to Rudistor NX33.
I also brought iHP140 & Headroom Micro portable 2007 with Senn HD25 apuresound V3 cable. I demoed 96Khz/24bit downloaded music on my Rockbox/iHP140 that has been downloaded from the LINN Record .
Here is a pic of my table.

Beside the distributors, some headphones manufactures has joined in like, Audio Technica, STAX, DENON and more.

I was so busy with my duties and almost no time to visit other exhibits. Sorry about this but anyway, here is a summary of the new announcements.

Intercity announced a new balanced headphone amp.
MBA-1 and MBA-1S that must be based on popular HD-1L.

Iiiiii na!

Thanks for the great report with wonderful links. Did I see you in one of those pictures? I didnt think that big name companies (Audio Technica) would have attended. It all looks like great fun.

I will try to be more prepared for the next one so that I can attend.

Thanks again for your efforts.

Oh sorry for the double post. Well, while I am here, let's make it a triple post!

Were there any unusual or rare headphones (R10, L3000)there for visitors to try?

Me again,

I just inspected your table- HP-1000, CD3000, and W2002 (?).

That looks like a nice selection of out-of-production headphones! Just what I wanted to know.

Yes, you can find me at the bottom right picture in this link.
The man passing the CD3000 to aged person is me.

FYI, the aged person is a famous audio writer.

Basically, this is not an offline meet and this is a trade show rather, so the exhibitors brought currently on the shelf models.
However, here was an open space for headphone fans and they brought some rare models for fun.

YES, I brought HP-2 balanced (by Larry) , CD3000 balanced (by Drew) and a stock W2002.
I hooked HP-2 and CD3000 to Rudistor NX-33 and hooked W2002 to Icon-1.
