... I was going through some old CDs and decided to put on "Electric Ladyland - the Jimi Hendrix Experience". It's been a long time since I've listened to it and couldn't believe how nice it sounded.

In seconds I was transported back to the 60's. I used to use a low budget stereo record player with speakers connected by about five foot cables. I'd lay on the floor and put a speaker to each side of my head (my first headphone) and it sounded great!

Wonder if this was how the K1000's got their start???

True…..However I had something of a little different experience

I was listening to some old Madonna vinyl records that I had bought used and played them on my audio system

Wow. The sonics are amazing. Maybe an excellent an batch of vinyl pressing perhaps.

When I was a kid and listened to Madonna it was on crappy speakers from the radio.

Hearing the music for the first time on high quality vinyl actually felt fresh and new.
