I’m looking for closed-back, over-ear headphones for recording and editing. I want them to be transparent, not colored. They need to be durable.
I'm considering Audio-Technica ATH-M70X and Focal Spirit Professional, but I'd like to know if there are other headphones I should consider. I've ruled out Beyerdynamic DT150 because of the design. I usually don't base headphone purchases on aesthetics, but that's way too ugly to be worn in public, IMO.
I'm also looking for an amp and a DAC. I already have a portable DAC-amp: Oppo HA-2.
