Am going to be taking the big silver bird to London (from New Zealand) in September for my brother's wedding. Being a total of around 20 hours in the air I'll be keen to take my SONY CD1700s and enjoy some of the inflight entertainment (previously I've had to put up with those crap uncomfortable things they hand out).

Reading through these pages I have previously seen people advertising adaptors for use on planes. My CD1700s have a mini-plug (eg for discman) with a 1/4" adaptor (for cdp/amp). Will I need a different adaptor on my flight?

Cheers

depends. SOme planes used standard 1/8 plugs. Others use the stupid 2 pronged ones. Radioshack should have an adapter. So does headroom(look for the sennheiser one).
