Hi

I search a headphone with high compatibility with analogic e valves sound (like fluid and linear and velvety ).

The price about 400-600 dollars.

I have thought about sony mdr cd3000 but i hope in your help for my decision.

Thanks

I wouldn't necessarily associate CD3K with fluid and linear and velvety. May be you should consider Sennheiser HD650?

The reason I said HD650 is that Sennheiser HD6x0 is the most liquid-sounding phone under $1000 I heard when powered by tube amp. CD3K works well with tube amps too, but it is different kinda liquidity. HD650 sounds warm, lush, velvety smooth (like a hot cup of coffee) where Sony CD3K is icy cold smooth (like icy cold milk shake smooth).

I have understand, remain with my sennheiser.....

But there isn't a headphone most velvety and fluid of 650? (not consider amplifier..).

This is for general information than buy it.
