I was there in Munich with MR CHUNG,Silbatone guys, some fanatic constructors and enthusiastic Audience. There were 4 meetings like this, as I remember. All original WE speakers were presented with Silbatone electronics, Frank Schroeder tt and arms, JC Morrison woofers and so on. One of my unforgetable experiences. I wish it could happen again. NOTHING currently avaliable stuff on The market can compare.

Maybe because good 6SN7s are rare and crazy expensive? But I guess in practice I agree with you, if I were to get this amp (which I'm not) I would want to use my 6SN7 equivalents.

What do you guys think about the “one impedance for all headphones“ design on the Mayer amp? Would this become a problem if you feel like using planar/grado/zmf on the same output?
I know there is a att switch but this would not effect damping?
What are you thoughts?

Halgorythme is an amp builder based in France. They have a 300B headphone amp for a semi-reasonable cost of 3200€.
