I suppose you could make this the headphone stand post.

From what I've seen there are a few distinct styles; desk clamps, wall mounted (basically hat racks or similar), and the standard "stand".
What kind are you interested in?
What kind of materials would you prefer? (Wood or metal)
What height do you require?
Do you want one with a "peg" (also known as an "arm" I suppose), one the headphones clamp onto, or do you need one that has the curved shape to fit the headband?
Do you have any preferences I didn't list?

Right now, I prefer metal, the standard "stand" and height to work with an HD600 if you know any that fit the bill.

Thank you for the replies, I think I'll take a look through that thread and try to find one that suits my needs as well.

The one that comes with the Asus ROG Centurion works so well, right height for the HD600 (+others) but its overpriced..... Plastic & literally looks like fingerprints during the day.
Also a lot of people use the Wooded U headphone stand with the HD600 line up to "help loosen the clamp" https://www.amazon.com/Qadira-woode...B014F37W9E/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1540368229

Anyway I've had my eye on this one for my HD660s, its metal, 1cm higher than my Asus one: https://www.amazon.com/EletecPro-He...B07423MMZ4/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1540368229
But since i now have HD600, HD660s & HD6XX, HD58X i've been thinking of getting 2 of these: https://www.amazon.com/Headphones-J...B01N4L4WPK/ref=sr_1_18?ie=UTF8&qid=1540368229
(Review with the image of a Sennheiser on it: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-...=cm_cr_getr_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B01N4L4WPK)

How about a floor stander instead?

Although a bit pricier these Woo Audio stands are really nice in my opinion:
https://www.amazon.com/Woo-Audio-HP...TF8&qid=1540372191&sr=1-12&keywords=woo+audio

In case of a future second pair of headphones the double type for just $10 extra:
https://www.amazon.com/Woo-Audio-HP...UTF8&qid=1540372428&sr=8-6&keywords=woo+audio

Or their much cheaper and more basic stand:
https://www.amazon.com/Woo-Audio-HP...TF8&qid=1540372857&sr=1-16&keywords=woo+audio
(could be slightly less ideal due to the HD600's headpad bumps)

AudioQuest alternative:

Wait is that just like coat hanger or actually for headphones?

Something like this would actually be better for me since I don't have a lot of desks space or desks.

Maybe I should be looking at coat hangers.

Thanks for these!

If I don't figure out a coat hanger stand thing then I'll most likely get one of the Woo Audios, really like the look.

You can find it here.

It's actually quite versatile and i've retired my half-dozen or so headphone stands cluttering my table top. It comes with a mix of short and long pegs that can be configured easily in any order. I have chosen to do alternating pegs, short and long, to hang both headphones and cables. It's very sturdy, with a wide and heavy base. Originally made for children so no sharp edges and doesn't tip over due to low centre of gravity. All for $25 bucks. It's a steal and I am thinking of grabbing another.

Thanks so much, it's in stock at my local IKEA.

Going to pick one up this weekend.

Hope you enjoy it and please, share pictures!

My sister lives near the IKEA so I thought I'd stop by for lunch and see how she was doing afterwards.
Turns out she has some headphones so I set up the stand there for a picture
Might be a bit much for just my HD600 right now but I plan on getting more and really like how you can swivel the hooks, real sturdy and nice for only $25+tax :astonished:

Looking good! Yes, forgot to mention the swivel feature. I also really love the height. As it's made for kids, it's actually the perfect hight for placing besides a chair or desk. Not crazy high like a normal coat hanger. Glad you are enjoying it.
