Headphone sightings

There's a guy who waits for the bus at the end of my street who wears his Grado SR60's every day. Pretty cool but not the best commuter cans.

I have seen a few good headphones and too many weak ones.
While at Indiana University for a week I saw more Shure models than I expected, mostly E2cs but some 3 and 4cs. However what remains to me the most surprising sighting I've ever been privy to was on the streets of Washington D.C. where I saw a very professional man wearing a nice suit and carrying a briefcase.....with AKG701s covering his ears.

I have always wanted to see someone walking around in public with some AKG K301/401/501/601/701's just to look like they just got off some Lunar mission from the 70's...

Did he look like an Astronaut?

You're BS'ing about that running w/ the K701 thing

How can one run with those things? They don't clamp onto your head AT ALL.

Yah, I walked the dog once with my K701s on a few minutes after a middle school nearby got out. A got a few odd stares by passerby in their cars, and something told me I should turn around (I have a good sense of when somebody's looking at me from behind

), and when I did, this kid was just staring at me, and looked like he was trying not to make fun of me. Luckily for him, my dog wasn't hungry due to an Otter Pop I gave him earlier.

I was at the mrt station near Plaza Singapura, and I saw a guy with transparent shure e2cs, or some other model, not really sure. I was so amazed. Then 2 minutes later I see a guy with black super.fi iems! Wanted to say hi, but didn't want to seem like a freak.

A guy I know from school has a pair of HD280 Silvers. He doesn't have an amp though. He used to have HD212s. Another friend of mine has a pair of Sportapros, and I've seen a couple of HD202s around school. That's it though.

EDIT: Oh yeah, another one of my friends has a pair of SR-60s. He bought them from his uncle for cheap, and brought them to school once. His uncle must be awesome. >_> I wonder if he posts here. Oh yeah, I've seen an MDR-V6 too.

Last week was the phones week.
I saw on my way to campus: one girl with HD201, another girl with PX100 (black version), an old guy with Porta Pros wearing them wrong sided (Left clip on the right side - meybe he changed the clips), Sony CD280, Sony V150 & 300 and the best I've seen so far on the street: HD25-SP. Impressive week.

All I ever see are iBuds and an occasional SONY streetstyle. That's probably why people look at me weird when I wear my PX100.

I only remember one sighting: A woman with white PX100s walking outside the restaurant I was eating at.

saw some guy wearing either westone UM2 or Shure e5c and another guy with Koss KCS75 at Golds gym. That is the ONLY sighting of good cans that I have ever seen.

I saw a lady on the T wearing some triports, with ducttape wrapped around headband. HAW! Wheres your style now? I snickered and adjusted my SR125s.
