I listen to hiphop, some house, and metal. The Audiotechnica ath m50s have caught my eye. I like a good amount of bass and clear music obviously haha. I listen to oldschool hiphop if that changes anything. I can soend about 150$ I can't go much higher.. Thanks!

The Klipsch Image X10s are probably my favorite around the $100-150 price range for bass orientated music. It goes hard, goes really deep, and doesn't affect the rest of the sound too much. The sound stage is quite impressive on them, and they're incredibly comfortable.
 
I don't know if you want portable on-ears or IEMs though, but if you're looking into IEMs, those would be my favorites. The UE Triple.Fi 10s are really really good as well, and can usually be found around that price range, even down to $99 when on Amazon's Flash Deals or whatever they call them
