New Head-Fier
Hi all! I have recently started to go down the hifi rabbit hole a bit. Here is my current setup:
An older Galaxy S7 phone (that I can use as a dedicated streamer), playing through UAPP to a DragonFly Black DAC (mainly through the Tidal MQAs) plugged into a Monoprice Liquid Spark Headphone Amplifier.
My headphones are an older pair of ATHM50s (from 2013).
My question is to what extent I would benefit from a headphone upgrade, and what a good pair would be for this setup (mainly used for casual at-home listening). I am leaning towards close-back headphones, but would consider open.
