Headphone recommendation

Looking for a good headphone that pairs well with valhalla 2. I'm a metal and edm listener. Considering the hd800 at one point

"Metal and EDM" - Ultrasone. Specifically the PRO900 or PRO2900 (how to decide? do you want more (900) or less (2900) bass, and do you need isolation (900) or not (2900)?). I have no idea how they'd pair with an OTL tube amp, but they'll offer the forward, aggressive, punchy presentation that'll play nicely with electronic guitars, cymbals, etc while having the bass presentation and impact to compliment EDM.

I dont know the impedance of the Ultrasones but typically OTLs work best high ohm headphones,250-600ohms

Usually they're like 40-70 ohms. I doubt it will be a good match with most OTLs, but that's the headphones I'd try for that mix. The amp may have to change.
