hi all, I'm looking for a new pair of portable headphones. I have the P7 and it's not very comfortable. I also have HD598 which i love. so I'm thinking of going with the momentum m2, not sure about the wireless version though (too expensive). anyone tested the new model? i went to best buy  but they didn't have one available to test. I'm basically looking for something similar to the 598 with more bass. thanks!

Have you considered the Oppo PM-3? Best headphone I've yet heard under $500, getting a lot better feedback than the Momentum 2 and is $50 cheaper to boot, if im not mistaken.

My bad it's $50 more than the Momentum 2, $100 less than the Momentum 2 Wireless though..

No problem, it's pretty much brand new, it's the first portable planar magnetic headphone and it's gotten a lot of rave reviews so far, I've got one and if you've never heard a planar magnetic designed headphone before you'll be in for a real treat.

they look beautiful though, i have to look one up locally. i see you have the LS 50 speakers in your signature, have you tested the x300a? I'm looking for a set for my bedroom.

no unfortunately I have not heard it, though i did some research of reviews on it myself before ultimately settling on the LS50's, but judging by the quality and value of the LS50, I would be willing to venture the X300A is excellent as well.
