I'm looking for a new pair of headphones for traveling. I was going to get the ATH-m50 but to get them shipped to Canada they will end up costing me about $200.

My requirments are:
Closed ear ( they will be used on planes and in public a lot)
Preferred removable cord (but not a deal breaker)
Sturdy/strong ( they will probabily get abused while traveling)
Sub $150 shipped to Canada (including shipping and brokerage fees [NOT including TAX]).

Maybe check the FS/FT forums and get a used pair of M50 within your budget.
