I've been looking for portable headphone with exceptional instrument separation, sound isolation and amazing girl vocal range, but I have failed trying by myself. So I ask head-fi headphone masters for help...all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i would say the akg k271 or 272 but i am not sure they would be considered portable. You can definitely carry them around in a bag but they are not good for wearing around your neck. They are great for vocals and have very good sound isolation.
