Hi I have a custom built tube integrated amp(15wpc, four 6L6 power tubes, two 12AX7 pre tubes) which has a headphone jack. I want to use it as a preamp with a more powerful amp to drive my new speakers. Unfortunatly I did not ask there to be added preouts. Can I use the headphone jack, with an RCA adapter, and make a preamp?

Thats exactly what I'm doing with the x-can v3 (into my Stax SRD-X) and... it just sounds better =P
